(formerly Rush and Associates) is an association of independent agricultural consultants specializing in forensic agronomy.
Our Background
- The group's formal education and practical experience collectively represent the fields of agronomy, entomology, crop physiology, seed physiology, soil science, plant nutrition, land use assessment, pest management, toxicology and agricultural product development. Rush and Duttle Consulting has legacy of delivering excellent independent forensic agronomy services to the agricultural industry across the Unites States for over 51 years with a combined experience in regional and international agriculture of over 150 years.
- While Rush and Duttle Consulting has an emphasis on the high value cropping systems of the Western U.S., we have associates positioned to provide agronomic expertise to meet client needs across the United States.
As a matter of our practice, forensic agronomy includes the following:
- Investigations of crop losses which may require the reconstruction of physical and chemical events leading to crop damage.
- Evaluation of field problems associated with any pests, pesticides, cultural practices, and a wide range of environmental factors.
- Quantitative value assessments of crop and finished product(s).
- Recommendations for remediation or prevention of crop loss and soil degradation.
- Land use evaluations and assessments.
- Expert witness testimony as necessary.
